Retirement Plan – Employer Paid:
- Fully paid by the Nation – no cost to you.
- Eligible to participate after completing 1,000 hours of work in a plan year and reaching age 18.
- You become fully vested (100% entitled to your pension benefit) after 5 years of service. (4 years for Elected Officials.)
- Normal Retirement Age: 65 (receive full retirement benefits).
- If you were born before January 1, 1969: Full retirement benefit at age 55 with at least 10 years of service, or when your age plus years of service equals 75. Reduced retirement benefits available beginning at age 50.
- If you were born on or after January 1, 1969: Full retirement benefit at age 60 with at least 10 years of service, or when your age plus years of service equals 80. Reduced retirement benefits available beginning at age 55.
- Your monthly pension benefit is calculated as: 2% × Years of Service (up to 25 years) × Final Average Pay.

401(K) Savings Plan – Employee Contributions + Nation Match
- Eligible to participate after completing an enrollment form and earning at least one hour of service.
- Choose to contribute from 1% to 30% of your pay on a tax-deferred basis.
- The Nation matches 100% of your first 3% contribution, plus 50% of the next 2% you contribute. (Maximum employer match = 4% of pay.)
- You are immediately 100% vested, meaning all contributions—including the Nation's matching contributions—belong to you right away.
